Rate of eyelid skin cancer is 75.62 %. Calculated incidence is 3.4 per 100,000 population. The peak of the disease is at 70–80 years of age. The disease was diagnosed in people of age 46–85 years, it was 66.65 % more frequent in women than in men. Basal cell carcinoma comprised 91.14 % of all cases. In 65.7 % of cases the tumor was diagnosed at stage Т1 and Т2, and at stage Т1, when patient can be cured, only in 34 % of cases. </p><p><bold>Objective.</bold> Study of incidence of malignant eyelid tumors of epithelial genesis, their prognostic characteristics using data from Moscow City Ophthalmic Oncology Center and Ophthalmic Oncology Department of the Branch # 1 “Ophthalmology Clinic” of the S.P. Botkin City Clinical Hospital of the Moscow Healthcare Department.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В Московский городской канцер-регистр Департамента здравоохранения города Москвы за 2006–2015 гг. внесены сведения о 3597 больных с первично выявленными злокачественными опухолями органа зрения. Частота рака кожи век среди них составила 75,62 %. Расчетная встречаемость составила 3,4 на 100 тыс. населения. Пик заболевания – 7–8-я декады жизни. Заболевают лица в возрасте 46–85 лет, женщины на 66,65 % чаще мужчин. Базально-клеточный рак составил 91,14 %. В 65,7 % случаев опухоль первично выявлена в стадии Т1 и Т2, а в стадии Т1, когда больной может быть полностью излечен от опухоли, – всего в 34 %.<bold/></p><p><bold>Цель исследования</bold> – изучение частоты встречаемости злокачественных опухолей век эпителиального генеза, их прогностических особенностей по материалам Московского городского офтальмоонкологического центра и офтальмоонкологического отделения филиала № 1 «Офтальмологическая клиника» ГБУЗ г. Москвы «ГКБ им. С. П. Боткина Департамента здравоохранения г.
