It highlights problems in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of this pathology on the basis of our clinic’s experience. Data on global trends in medical treatment for low-grade radioactive iodine therapy-refractory thyroid tumors, as well as disseminated and metastatic medullary cancer are given.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Статья посвящена анализу современных тенденций в диагностике и лечении местно-распространенного, рецидивного и мета- статического медуллярного и высокодифференцированного рака щитовидной железы (ЩЖ). Освещены вопросы диагностики и хирургического лечения данной патологии на основе опыта нашей клиники.
