The development of oral mucositis is the main cause of interruption of antitumor therapy, which significantly affects the results of treatment of the main disease. Despite the fact that the disease is well studied in the literature, today there is no universal treatment and prevention protocol. The aim of this review is to analyze scientific publications devoted to the problems of etiology, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of oral mucositis.</p>
В данном обзоре представлен анализ научных публикаций, посвященных проблемам этиологии, патогенеза, клинической картины, диагностики, лечения и профилактики орального мукозита.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>oral mucositis</kwd><kwd>oropharyngeal region</kwd><kwd>antitumor therapy</kwd><kwd>radiation exposure</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>оральный мукозит</kwd><kwd>орофарингеальная область</kwd><kwd>противоопухолевая терапия</kwd><kwd>лучевая нагрузка</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Malignant tumors in Russia in 2017 (morbidity and mortality).
