Russian Society for Head and Neck Tumors was established in 2010.

The aim of our activity – to unite various  health care professionals, including oncologists, chemotherapeutists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, ENT-specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, endocrinologists, ophthalmologist and researches in the fundamental fields of oncology. Such interaction of professionals offers the possibility to develop the uniform strategy in diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors. Since 2011 Russian Society for Head and Neck Tumors is publishing quarterly peer-reviewed journal «Head and Neck Tumors» for ideologic promotion and realization of society goals.

This journal is the official publication of Russian Society for Head and Neck Tumors. It is included in the index of Supreme Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation as a topline recommended journal.

«Head and Neck Tumors» journal has been included in the scientific electronic library and Russian index of scientific quotation since 2011 and has its own impact factor.

The journal was registered in CrossRef at 2015, so all published articles are indexed with DOI-identifier.

The on-line version of the journal is displayed in topline Russian and International digital libraries since 2015.
