ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR RECURRENT OROPHARYNGEAL CANCER
Abstract
The paper analyzes the results of surgical treatment in 57 patients with recurrent oropharyngeal cancer after an ineffective chemoradiaton therapy cycle performed in 1995 to 2014.
It shows that it is important to estimate the extent of a tumor process by different methods and to choose a surgical approach.Head and Neck Tumors. 2014;4(2):4-9

CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH T3N0–2M0 LARYNGEAL FOLD CANCER
Abstract
The paper gives the results of surgical, combined, and chemoradiation treatments in 102 patients with laryngeal fold cancer of the extent corresponding to T3N0–2M0, who have been treated at the Department for Surgery of Upper Respiratory and Digestive Tracts, N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. It discusses the influence of different prognostic factors on survival, as well as recommendations to determine the most optimal treatment policy in this category of patients.
